![]() It would be great for people who have abnormally small or large ears since the ear pieces are different sizes. I really liked that it came with the headband and multiple ear pieces which provide a more personalized wearing experience. I had to read carefully to make sure I followed the directions for not installing the handset lifter. The instructions were pretty clear, although it does get confusing if you don't order the handset lifter, which I didn't. It was easy to set up and attach to my phone. I was pretty shocked by what they cost but I went ahead and ordered it. It was recommended by our company ergonomics specialist so I ordered it. I have recently started using the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset system at work. I haven't been able to compare this product to other professional headsets, but this one is not that impressive.įalse The Plantronics CS55 Headset is useful and feature rich We have broken a headband trying to do this. Also, its not the easiest thing to clip in and out of the headband. I know that might make it look stupid, but thats better than pain. They need to do something about the comfort and possibly add some padding. After a while, my ear starts to get very sore. ![]() Also, it is not the most comfortable thing in the world. I will have to switch around my cords and put it back on the charger by around 3:30pm. When I get in at 8:30am and turn on the phones, it won't last the whole day. First off, the headset is suppose to charge all night. I am not very impressed with this headset, and I will tell you why. I was eager to use a headset so I didn't have to keep picking up a handset each time the phone rang (which was a lot!). I work at an office where I answer the phones for over 60 companies. True Would rather use a handset over this If you can afford it I would completely reccommend it. Also, you can talk while walking around, however you will not be able to answer new calls coming in or "end" calls.įor me it's been great. I didn't have to pay for since I use it at work, however if you are purchasing it yourself know that it's not cheap. The only drawbacks I've found are that for one, it's expensive. With the Plantronics CS55 headset I can walk around the office while on hold, or while handling a call. It's also helped me not break out so much (dirty phone no longer pressed against my chin!) The calls are crisp and clear-no static (just make sure to "test" the volume with someone by making a test call to a friend or family member first). If it's not then press the button on the right side of your headset to turn it on). It's easy to set up and keeps a charge for a long time as long as you make sure you hang it up on the charger when you are not using it (The green light on the base unit will be on to show it's charging. My neck is no longer kinked out at the end of the day from holding the earpiece with my head and shoulders. I got one through my job because I'm on the phone a lot (and on hold a lot). True I'm no longer stuck at my desk while on a call! I like that if I am away from my base I can hear the phone ring in the ear piece with a little beep. I have not problem with the charge for the amount of time and use I use this headset for. Even after adjusting it, I still have issues with the reciever pickup not picking up all the way. I sometimes have to pick up the handle to the phone myself to keep it from hanging up on my caller. It goes through spurts of working and not working. The only thing that kept me from giving this headset a 5 star rateing is that the base part that connects to your phone and lifts the head set when you are answering or dialing out, is week. It comes with muliple ways to wear either with a over the head piece or there are about 5 different ear type pieces. The planatronics brand is a great brand to purchase. We have ended up having to replace velcro every month or so which is rather inconvienent.Įven with this con I would recommend this to anyone looking for wireless freedom and comfort for their minions. We've tried velcro, rubber bands, and propping things under it. The only cons I can think of is it is tough to get it to stay on the phone. The headset itself is very light and comfortable and sometimes I forget it's on and leave the office with it on. Some people say they have had trouble keeping these charged but I haven't had a problem yet with that and have in fact never ran out of charge while using it. The volume is precise and the sound quality is clear. The wireless luxury gives you freedom abound and allows you to travel at least 50 feet an answer calls clearly, for me that's to anywhere in our office. The pros of this piece of equipment are numerous. The Plantronics - CS55 Wireless Headsets are head and shoulders better. I use these at work, having used a manual wired training set prior and the difference is night and day.
